letting it all go while pregnant ... guilty

I honestly do not know how other pregnant mamas out there do it (and I'm looking at you Mama @ The Missus Blog!); be pregnant, have a full time job, an active toddler at home and still find the time to look good. I personally look like crap ... been looking like crap probably since my first trimester. I couldn't stand the smell of my favourite Diorskin foundation, Estee Lauder lipgloss or Hugo Boss Orange perfume so I had to settle for the pale faced look during my first and second trimester.

Now that I'm in my third trimester and almost at the home stretch, I've gotten so used to not applying any makeup or doing up my hair (I've been letting my hair grow out then tying it up in a loosebun because of all the hot flashes I've been getting lately.)

I've pretty much let myself go.

This picture was taken when I first started feeling better towards the middle of my second trimester.

I do not look like this now. I look worse and in a few short weeks too. It's shocking!

I've not been to the facialist since I found out I was pregnant nor have my visited my hairdresser in over 6 months. I could just blame it on being lazy but seriously, between a full time job and taking care of Adrianna - I also don't have the time to. Whatever time I have left is spent cleaning up the house and making sure everything is in order so I don't have to run around like a headless chicken when bubs decides to meet the world.

It's my night off today. My little girl is going to stay the night at the grandparents. After work, I'm going to indulge myself to some KFC, stop by the Guardian on my way home to pick up a few items and have a spa session later tonight. Goodness knows I need some pick-me-up ... besides, it's our fourth wedding anniversary today. Hubby is back in KL for work but he'll be back on Friday and I think he'll appreciate a better looking wife, even if I'm about to pop.

Now, if I could only reach my toes ...
